About Us

The Old Presbytery was built in the early 1800's. it is located in a quiet area, close to Kinsale's famous historic landmarks Desmond Castle (now Kinsale's wine museum) and St Multose 12th Century Church and just across from the beautiful Church of St John the Baptist. The Old Presbytery was once the home of the priests in the parish.

We offer comfortable beds in atmospheric rooms decorated in keeping with the era but with every modern convenience. All rooms have private bathrooms - all have showers and some have either traditional Victorian claw foot baths or jacuzzi baths. We have an extensive breakfast menu for our guests and we cater for vegetarian, vegan and special diets.

A new wing was added 10 years ago and this is decorated in the same traditional style with Victorian brass and iron beds and old Irish pine furniture. We are constantly improving and upgrading and last year added a patio for guests' use as well as solar panels for our water-heating. We are also eco-friendly and use organic and Fair Trade products where possible
